Miron Construction, a family-owned firm based in Neenah, Wisconsin, has seen a significant leadership transition as David Voss Jr. stepped down as president and CEO after 45 years at the helm. Effective January 1, he assumed the role of chairman of the board, continuing to support the company as part of a planned multi-year leadership succession.
Taking over as CEO is Dan Voss, who also serves as the company’s secretary. Miron Construction operates across various sectors, including commercial, government, healthcare, and retail projects. Notably, the firm has been involved in enhancing Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, since 2011.
David Voss Jr. began co-leading the company in 1979 alongside Greg Kippenhan and Pat Voss. In 2003, the leadership team evolved when Tim Kippenhan, Greg’s son, joined as co-owner. The company has been under the stewardship of the Voss and Kippenhan families, ensuring a strong foundation and steady growth. Now, the leadership mantle passes to the next generation, with Dan Voss and David Voss III—David Voss Jr.’s son—taking on pivotal roles.
As part of the new leadership structure, Tim Kippenhan steps into the roles of president and chief operating officer, while David Voss III takes on responsibilities as vice president and chief construction operating officer. Dean Basten rounds out the leadership team as treasurer and chief financial officer.
Founded in 1918 by Patrick G. Miron, the company began as a local masonry shop and has grown into a prominent name in the construction industry. The transition ensures that Miron Construction continues its family legacy, with a focus on innovation and industry leadership. With the new generation at the helm, the firm is poised to build on its century-long history while navigating future opportunities and challenges.
