Kraaft Secures €13M to Expand Construction Industry “Super App”

Kraaft, a rising star in construction technology, has secured €13 million in Series A funding to enhance its platform and accelerate growth in key markets like the UK and Germany. Led by Dawn Capital and supported by Brick & Mortar Ventures, Chalfen Ventures, Stride VC, and OSS Ventures, the funding signals strong confidence in Kraaft’s mission to revolutionize the construction industry.

Kraaft’s platform bridges the gap between field and office operations with AI-driven tools for project management, including planning, photo geolocation, and safety checks. Despite being a massive global industry, construction has lagged in digitization, with IT investments falling well below the averages of other sectors. Kraaft addresses this gap with an intuitive and engaging app designed to improve communication, collaboration, and productivity for frontline workers and managers.

Since raising €3.2 million in seed funding in 2023, Kraaft has tripled its user base, which now exceeds 3,000 users. The platform is available in five languages—English, Spanish, German, Italian, and French—aligning with its expansion across Europe. In 2024, Kraaft forged partnerships with leading construction companies such as SAUR, NGE, SPIE CityNetworks, and Ramery. To make its technology accessible, the platform offers a free plan for small businesses and plans to introduce new features, including planning tools and timesheets.

Kraaft’s success lies in its ability to make advanced tech easy to adopt. Its messaging-focused design simplifies communication, a critical need in an industry powered by people rather than just machines. The app has gained a reputation for being user-friendly and is celebrated by workers for its straightforward functionality. This combination of simplicity and impact has made Kraaft a favorite among foremen and managers alike.

As Kraaft scales further, the focus remains on empowering construction teams globally. The company is committed to addressing the industry’s unique challenges while enhancing efficiency and collaboration. With strong financial backing and an ambitious roadmap, Kraaft is poised to reshape how construction projects are managed, ultimately improving the working lives of millions in the sector.
