Forrester Launches New Forrester Decisions Service for Data, AI, and Analytics Leaders

According to Forrester’s (Nasdaq: FORR) 2025 artificial intelligence predictions, nearly a third of chief information officers at large enterprises will collaborate with chief data officers to drive AI-powered business growth in the coming year. Moreover, 40% of regulated companies are expected to integrate their data and AI governance programs to ensure alignment between AI models, business goals, and legal regulations. Despite this, only 22% of global data and analytics decision-makers cite data integrity and quality as top challenges in executing their data initiatives.

To help data and technology leaders make strategic, data-driven decisions and build a foundation for scaling AI, Forrester has launched a new research service: Forrester Decisions for Data, AI & Analytics. Announced at Forrester’s Technology & Innovation Summit North America, the service aims to assist chief data, AI, and analytics leaders in developing insights-driven capabilities that align their data and AI strategies. Forrester Decisions for Data, AI & Analytics will enable executives, functional leaders, and their teams to focus on key priorities, including activating a robust data and AI strategy, architecting modern platforms, developing governed data products, driving decisions with business intelligence, advancing AI innovation, and building an adaptive data culture.

Sharyn Leaver, Forrester’s chief research officer, emphasized that enterprise leaders must first establish a solid data foundation with clear business goals, strong governance processes, and a culture of data-driven decision-making to foster AI-powered innovation. The new service will provide leaders with essential research, tools, and frameworks to turn their data and AI initiatives into organizational imperatives, accelerating growth. Through Forrester’s unique research model, clients will receive research-based insights, tools, and continuous guidance to progress their initiatives.

Noteworthy topics include building effective data and AI teams, generative AI strategies, data governance as a foundation for an insights-driven business, and architecture patterns that drive data and analytics outcomes. Forrester Decisions for Data, AI & Analytics will be available starting October 29, 2024, offering a comprehensive approach to help organizations navigate their data and AI journeys.
