Honeywell Wins Building Management Contract

Honeywell is set to partner with RLS for a major project in Nashik, Maharashtra, India. The collaboration will involve the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of integrated building management, command and control, and environment monitoring systems. This contract also includes a seven-year commitment for annual maintenance support, ensuring sustained operational excellence for RLS.

Ashish Modi, President of Honeywell India, emphasized the significance of this project within the pharmaceutical sector. He noted that Honeywell’s Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI) Command and Control Suite and CLSS would be deployed and integrated, marking a notable achievement for the company. This integration will enhance RLS’s ability to oversee numerous operations and stations spread across a vast 160-acre facility, improving efficiency and operational control.

By leveraging Honeywell’s advanced technology, RLS aims to achieve better control and monitoring of its facilities, ultimately leading to enhanced safety, security, and operational efficiency. This partnership highlights the growing importance of integrated building management systems in the pharmaceutical industry, where maintaining stringent control over environmental conditions and safety protocols is critical. The long-term support commitment from Honeywell further underscores the company’s dedication to helping RLS maintain optimal performance over the years.
